Real estate photography does not only focus on capturing an image of a given house. It is also a necessity to edit the image until it looks polished. In this way, you will be able to leave a good mark not just with the company that you belong to but also to your clients.

Post-processing skills may not be as easy as you thought, but there are a lot of guides out there in order to keep you on track. To guide you more about the basics of post-processing techniques, check out below the following things that you need to manipulate or readjust in order to have good real estate photography.

1. Through the use of Lightroom, you can fix the visible deformations found in the photo. You have two options to choose from and these are Automatic and Manual Correction.

If you choose to use the Automatic Correction, the first step that you should do is to open the photo that you will be going to edit. Once it was done, click the "develop module" tool. Make sure that you are using the basic bar and then click the "lens correction" panel. Right after that, you need to enable profiling corrections and pick among the choices given.

On the other side, if you choose to use the manual correction, it will take only two steps. These steps are as follows:

• Switch your tab to "manual" and then click the "lens correction" tool.

• Pick the right slider for the image.

2. By using Photoshop, you can easily correct the verticals present in the photo. Just simply follow the steps below:

• Open the image.

• Make a new layer. Just simply click ctrl+J.

• Go to the layer panel and click the new layer.

• Select the transform tool in the menu area.

• Select one option from the transform handles.

• Hold and drag the photo outwards.

3. Lightroom CC is the best editing app to use for enhancing the light of the given real estate photograph. It can be best done when the image lacks light or even when it is too bright. Here are the steps for adjusting the brightness of an image:

• Look for the "light" tool and choose among the given controls. Afterward, click the image and proceed to editing. Make sure that you will go to click "auto." It will show slider and it is up to you whether what you will choose.

• If you think that the saturation of the photo is quite unpleasant, you will need to use the "vibrance and saturation" slider. By doing so, just simply drag the slider to change the color intensity of a particular photo. If you want to increase its saturation, drag right. Otherwise, if you want to decrease its saturation, just drag left.
